Thumper & Nellie... Vieques Island

Another morning on our daily beach walk on Vieques...I am so lucky to be able to walk out the door and take the dogs on the beach every morning. I see so many dogs in such sad situations and I wonder if my dogs are aware of what a wonderful life they have. I hope to never have them have to leave Vieques again. To think of how many years I would fly my dogs between Vieques and Chincoteague Island, is actually now a nightmare to me. Then is was just life..
Thes are pictures of the usual , Thumper full of energy, while the other dogs try to just chill and
then... THE ATTACK!! He has knocked me off my feet a few times!

Bedtime for Max on Vieques

Max has been working really hard , caught an iguana yesterday. Nothing more to say about that, except Thumper carried into the house. No use posting a picture, you can imagine what the episode was like, right down to my screaming. There is never a dull moment with the dogs on Vieques.

MAX !!! Max can fly, Vieques Island , Puerto Rico

Max really can fly into almond trees, his job is to wait for the iguana to come down. He gets a little impatient on the ground so he will fly into the tree to wait, sometimes from 6 in the morning to bedtime. I know where to find him for bedtime, providing he has not escaped the totally fenced yard. If let loose on Vieques Island he most definitely could control the entire population of iguanas and chicken. Quite a hunter!

Gracie

Gracie loves it when Thumper digs the whole for her to get in.
